Owen Jelf #3 - Owen started his racing career in 1977 in what is now known as the JT250 (Juniors) class on the UK National Circuit. He then moved onto Formula 4 in 1984 where he won his first National title in 1985 - that was to prove the beginning of a highly successful period of his racing career.
In 1986 Owen became F4 World Champion. Two more F4 National titles followed in 1988 and 1991. In 1992 he also moved up to Formula 2 with Colin. Along with setting the 2 hour F2 Endurance Record in 1994. Owen also won the 2003 & 2010 British Sprint Championship.
With an F2 Match Race Championship and numerous wins bith at home and abroad, Owen continues to compete very successfully in the F2 World Championship Series.
Owen is married to Sam and they have a son Caleb and a daughter Lauren. They currently reside in London. Owen works as a Management Consultant in the City.
Owen intends to race all rounds of the F2 World & Continental Championships in 2011.
